Sustainability on
company level.

ProjectC!™ is the masterplan of beMatrix to become Carbon Neutral as a company by 2026 & to create awareness among our employees.

Do you know what carbon neutral means? “It is the state of zero carbon emissions as a result of maximal reduction of the footprint combined with a contribution of what could not be avoided.”

ProjectC!™ Is based on 3 steps:

Two examples:

Waste management

Our waste is recycled in accordance with the standards of the Flemish VLAREMA regulations, which define sustainable management of material cycles and waste. At beMatrix, we have our own recycling park, where each waste stream is collected separately: wood, aluminum, compostable waste, plastics and metals, electronics, plastic foil, paper and cardboard residual waste.

Efficient machine park

Next to our professional team that performs handicrafts, we invested in an automated machine park with top-notch technology. This investment has been a conscious choice for sustainability: since the machines are much more precise, we lose fewer raw materials during production. The small amount of production waste is collected and reused for aluminum production.

Certificate

beMatrix received the Climate Neutral Now certificate from the UN and the corresponding badges in its sub-domains MEASURING, REDUCING and OFFSETING. This is based on our efforts in 2019. We will report annually on our footprint and the intention is to perpetuate but also improve our earned badges.
