beMatrix shows off amazing new innovations at EXHIBITORLIVE
Every year, we are looking forward to delighting both current and future customers with products and innovations. These new products and innovations are designed to revolutionise the exhibition and live events industry, and this year was no different. This year's EXHIBITORLIVE stand was the largest on the show floor thanks to the use of beTruss and beConstruct. For the first time since its launch, we displayed a Double Deck, giving guests a hands-on experience of this popular product. Read on to hear more about all the great innovations of this year.
On 27 and 28 February, we presented innovations from various product lines at the EXHIBITORLIVE show in Nashville, Tennessee. EXHIBITORLIVE is the premier trade show for exhibition builders, AV companies, graphics companies and manufacturers to show what they and their products are capable of.
This year, we wanted to show that we can combine streamlined professionalism with large floor space without compromising our ability to provide an educational and engaging experience for visitors. Our design was finished with a variety of materials, including SEG, Sintra vinyl infills, Plexiglas and real glass. However, at the heart of the design was the real beMatrix DNA. We highlight with you the key beMatrix products used in the construction of our stand, as well as some of the other products we exhibited.
Double Deck
Double Deck is the only beMatrix-compatible way to almost double the surface area of your stand and offer your customers unique ways to make the most of their designs. This year, we added a bar underneath the Double Deck and a private meeting room on the second floor. We even integrated a beTV into one of the walls on the second floor to easily show attendees content.
beTV
Speaking of beTV, it is the perfect addition to any design. Just as we easily integrated beTV into our Double Deck, you can also integrate it into any part of your beMatrix design thanks to the fact that the screen is built directly into the beMatrix frames. No need for time-consuming mounting, the beTV fits seamlessly into your design.
Glass Railing
Returning to Double Deck for a moment, we have some unique Double Deck add-ons that can help you finish your designs with sleek and professional-looking glass; we are of course talking about our Glass Railing. We wanted to match the dark tones of our booth and went for glass with a smokey black finish. You see, you can add almost any type of glass to the glass railing as long as it falls within the specifications.
Landing Platform
We showcased the Double Deck landing platform. The platform is easy to integrate into any existing Double Deck without having to buy a new set of stairs. Not only that, the platform gives builders more flexibility when it comes to their stairs. We made sure that our stairs had the right orientation so that they did not block the flow of traffic or go outside the boundaries of our exhibition space. This kind of flexibility is crucial when designing a booth.
beTruss
When the Double Deck was completely finished, we still had plenty of room for signage, but the problem was that we needed something strong to support it. beTruss is perfect for supporting load-bearing structures, it can easily handle the weight of more than 10 of our LEDskin® panels without causing any sweat.
beConstruct
Double Deck is a great way to give your stand a larger surface area and beTruss is a great way to add extra supporting structure to your stand. However, we also wanted something that was more low-profile and could still make our stand look bigger, but would not detract from the sleek and professional look we were going for. That's where beConstruct came in. beConstruct is the perfect way to make the most of every centimetre of space without disrupting the aesthetic of your stand.
NEW P1.5 LEDskin®
We recently announced the launch of a brand new LEDskin® module: a 1.5mm pixel pitch panel designed for close-up viewing. There was no better time to show it off than at EXHIBITORLIVE! Being seamlessly integrated, the only thing people would notice about this new LEDskin® are the wider viewing angles, better colour accuracy, smaller pixel pitch and the new LED design with a protective coating to prevent dust and fingerprints.
Lightboxes
Speaking of showing differences, we took the opportunity to showcase the different types of Lightboxes we have available. We integrated 3 of them into one of the walls of our stand: the 62S sideLED, the 124D sideLED and the 186D sideLED Lightboxes. Each of these Lightboxes has different thicknesses to suit different types of walls and design choices.
Counterweights
Our 18 kg counterweights, a standard part of our UnderCovr product, can also be used for stand-alone displays. We demonstrated this to attendees using a range of frames and plexiglass. These weights fit nicely into our frame reinforcement brackets. These brackets can be installed in your frames, turning each frame into a weighted frame.
Thinking Outside of the Frame
In addition to the various products offered by beMatrix, we also offer a number of tools that can make the design process run smoothly. At EXHIBITORLIVE, we showcased some of these tools that are now vital for any standbuilder.
beCAD®
Our Inventor plug-in and browser-based design software, beCAD®, has become increasingly popular among standbuilders and designers. To best cater to this audience, we set up two different iZi-Range tables as product demonstration areas. At each station, visitors were given a tour of the software, an overview of its features and the opportunity to sign up for their own account if they did not already have one.
Carbon Footprint Calculator
While showing beCAD®, our staff also took the time to demonstrate another tool of ours that is built into the MybeMatrix platform: the Carbon Footprint Calculator. By entering the material types used, the number of times the material is reused and various other statistics, users can see how much carbon footprint each of their designs has. They can also see how little impact the beMatrix system has compared to more traditional methods of building exhibitions and events. Participants were shown first-hand how to use the software and make an impact in their designs.
Speaking of Sustainability
We were happy to take the opportunity to inform our guests about our sustainability mission. Unlike other manufacturers who use harsh chemicals, resource-intensive materials such as steel and wood, and hide behind words like "green", we offer in-depth reporting on our production processes and how our products affect the world around us.
