Some products just have to be seen in person, like Viewray, Inc.’s MRI-guided radiation therapy tools. The medical technology company turned to Altitude Exhibits for help designing an engaging exhibit at ASTRO 2021 that would show off their newly-FDA-approved MRIdian capabilities to a large, discerning audience of clinicians, doctors and healthcare technicians.
MRIdian is a stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy solution that tracks cancerous soft tissue and tumors in real time. ViewRay needed an interactive, visually exciting way to introduce MRIdian’s new capabilities to a live audience. With the help of beMatrix™’s Double Deck system, Altitude Exhibits designed a 2,400-square foot space where larger audiences could watch clinicians demonstrate MRIdian’s imaging sequences, automated workflow steps, and on-table auto-contouring tools. At the same time, the compartmentalized exhibit floor plan allowed attendees to interact with ViewRay’s new patient feedback technology at individual workstations while intimate groups of attendees and company representatives met privately to discuss ViewRay’s products.
The beMatrix™ system allowed Altitude’s streamlined team of three event techs plus one beMatrix tech to assemble the entire exhibit efficiently from every angle. Just like MRIdian enhances the ability of clinicians to collaborate on treatments, beMatrix™’s Double Deck system comes together quickly with the right team.
ViewRay was excited about the exhibit and the buzz it created for MRIdian. ASTRO organizers noted that the quality of those in attendance combined with Altitude’s innovative exhibit proved that, like a well-designed health treatment plan, live events are still just what the doctor ordered.
