Three Red Dot Awards for beMatrix

The final results of this year's Red Dot Award are in! beMatrix's innovative new products were received not one, not two, but three Red Dot Awards! Before we introduce you to the stars of the show, we'll give you a quick breakdown of what a Red Dot Award is and how a product is judged.

Red Dot Jury session
The biggest design competition

With around 20,000 entries per year from 60 different countries, the Red Dot Design Award is the biggest design competition in the world. This coveted award has become a symbol of outstanding design quality that is recognized worldwide.

To make sure that each product is judged appropriately, given the diversity of the different kind of designs submitted, the competition is separated out into three distinct categories:

  1. Red Dot Award: Product Design
  2. Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design
  3. Red Dot Award: Design Concept

Product Design Award 2024:
how did beMatrix perform?

At the end of 2023, we submitted three different products that we had recently launched: our beConstruct profile, the beTV and our new LEDskin® P2.5

The judge's panel consisted of 43 members who all came together to examine each entry. After much deliberation, they determined which beMatrix entries met the strict "Red Dot Award" criteria: good design with positive socio-cultural character, specific technical focus, and design expertise. Each beMatrix product was not in direct competition with one another, but rather, they were assessed on their individual merits.

On to stars of the show

It's with great honor and pride that we can officially announce that beConstruct, beTV, and LEDskin® P2.5 were each awarded a Red Dot Award for "Product Design 2024!" Thanks to the aforementioned panel of internationally respected judges, our products are confirmed to have exceptional design quality.
