January 1st was met with the launch of our new range of ECO pins, used to attach frames at the top and bottom, together with the ECO finishing and new type of hook and loop tape.

These pins are no longer chromium plated, but are manufactured in a Zamak alloy (a Dutch acronym for Zinc, Aluminum, Magnesium and Copper). The environmental impact of this procedure is significantly smaller than when applying a chromium layer: it reduces carbon emissions by up to 1/8 and nearly halves the weight of the pins.

Moreover, their special design makes them perfectly stackable, so they take up less space when stored or transported.
