Going epic for the planet: the event industry's first ClimatePartner Certified frames are beMatrix!
We are extremely proud to announce that beMatrix has made a substantial part of our product range CLIMATEPARTNER CERTIFIED. This means that 90% of the ECO+ frames produced on our automatic line are ClimatePartner Certified, an event-industry first!
These frames now have a small label that's making a huge impact: our ClimatePartner Certified label. Climate Partner, a German independent organization, assists companies in calculating and reducing CO2 emissions as well as finances climate projects.

The frames from our automatic line now have a ClimatePartner Certified Label. But what exactly is included in our calculations for this certification? To make sure we were thorough, we took the calculated footprint of the following products:
• All straight frames produced on our automatic line with the ECO+ finish
• The toolless connector
• 4-pin 180 D30 ECO
We took the full product lifecycle into account and received the CRADLE TO CUSTOMER + END OF LIFE certificate.
9.000 tonnes CO2 ↓
We applied various sustainability measures in our production process, accounting for approximately 90% of our ECO+ frames. By doing so, we reduced our future emissions by more than 9,000 metric ton of CO2.
9,000 metric tons sounds like a lot, so let's put it into perspective: that’s the emissions equivalent of 1.4 million cheeseburgers, according to expert Mike Breners-Lee in The Carbon Footprint of Everything.
78.5% recycled aluminum ♺
Let's talk about the core material: aluminum. In 2019, our frames contained 33% recycled aluminum. Today, they’re made of more than 78.5% recycled aluminum.
As a beMatrix customer, you can now buy CLIMATECERTIFIED frames. All our measurements, calculations, and contributions can be tracked by scanning the QR code next to the ClimatePartner label. These labels are etched into our frames, or you can download the certificates here. With this, you can offer a unique value to your customers. You can differentiate yourself from competitors.
