beMatrix’ growth ambitions confirmed by European Business Awards ‘Ones to watch’ nomination

The most promising companies of 34 European countries have been listed as the ‘Ones to watch’ by the organisers of the ‘European Business Awards’. Each nominee has delivered exceptional results in one of the 18 EBA categories and reflects the core values of the program: innovation, success and ethical business practices.

beMatrix, manufacturer of innovative modular stand building systems, has been selected for this list, together with 65 additional Belgian companies. This nomination again confirms the success of their growth strategy in the niche market of stand building and events.

beMatrix, founded in 2004 by current CEOs Stefaan Decroos & Edwin Van der Vennet, has been growing very fast in the past years. Over 15 years, global turnover has grown from 1 million to 35 million euro. Globally, beMatrix employs over 165 people, with their systems available in 63 countries with divisions in the USA, UK, The Netherlands, France, Scandinavia, Asia and Australia.

CEO Stefaan Decroos & Edwin Van der Vennet: “We are incredibly proud to be recognised this way and hope to continue this positive trend in the following years. We want to thank all colleagues, the ‘beManiacs’, and all our customers and partners for their commitment and trust in beMatrix over the past years.”

One of the reasons that contributed to be nominated as ‘Ones to watch’, apart from strong and stable financial growth, is the way beMatrix focuses on R&D and the importance of sustainability in developing the product range.

“In the coming years, we want to further improve our marketing and communication endeavours – we have the ability to develop the most fantastic systems, so we have to create more awareness regarding the possibilities of our solutions among our clients, stand builders and their clients, managers and marketeers”, explains Marketing Manager Pieter Lecluyse.

Companies on the ‘Ones to watch’ list are active in all kinds of industries ‒ manufacturing, retail, agriculture, technology ‒ and come in all sizes: from start-ups to multinationals. Each nominee now is given the opportunity to compete in one of the 18 European Business Awards categories and become a national winner. When successful, they can take part in the grand final in December 2019, during which the 12 European winners will be announced. In 2018 in Warsaw, beMatrix won the first prize in the category ‘turnover 0-25 million €’. Go to www.businessawardseurope.com for the ‘Ones to watch’ per country.
