Three Red Dots for beMatrix
The final results of this year's Red Dot Award are in! beMatrix's innovative products were awarded with not one Dot, not two Dots but actually three Dots! Before we introduce you to the stars of the show, we will give you an insight into what a Red Dot Award is and how a product is judged.
The biggest design competition
With around 20 000 entries per year from 60 different countries, the Red Dot Design Award is the biggest design competition in the world. The coveted award has become the highly regarded seal for outstanding design quality that is recognised worldwide.
To reach a professional judgement, given the diversity of the design sector, the annual competition is always divided into three disciplines:
- Red Dot Award: Product Design
- Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design
- Red Dot Award: Design Concept

how did beMatrix perform?
At the end of 2023, we submitted three different products that we just recently launched: our beConstruct profile, the beTV and the LEDskin® with pixel pitch 2,5.
A jury of 43 members came together to discover and examine all entries. They reached their verdict on which of the beMatrix entries met the Red Dot criteria: good design and taking into account the socio-cultural character, specific technical focus and design expertise. Note that our products were not in competition with one another but were assessed on their individual merits.

It's with enormous pride that we can officially announce that beConstruct, beTV and LEDskin® P2,5 were awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024! An internationally respected and independent panel of experts confirmed their exceptional design quality.
