The stand of Jet Import – known as importer of international brands such as Red Bull, Fever Tree, Sol & Desperados – was once again one of the main attraction at one of the most prestigious fairs in the hospitality industry in Belgium, i.e. Horeca Expo in Flanders Expo (Ghent).

To build this stand for Jet Import, Bulik Standbouw from Izegem (BE) used the modular aluminum frame system of beMatrix, with a completely seamless finish. They used large prints and integrated new materials, such as printed wood.

LEDskin®, eye-catcher for Red Bull & The Kraken Black Rum

In order to highlight two brands from their portfolio, Bulik opted for the integration of two LED walls in the Jet Import stand, one for Red Bull and one for their new type of black rum: The Kraken.

Both applications were finished in a different way. The screen of Red Bull was integrated flush with the walls. The ‘stand in the stand’ from The Kraken was transformed into a shipwreck, covered with wood on & around the LEDskin® and beMatrix walls, a link to the brand identity of the eccentric brand.

Classic or quirky combinations

Audiovisual applications on exhibition stands today are the rule rather than the exception. The integration of screens still leaves much to be desired, for example with exposed cables and visible fixings.

With that problem in mind, beMatrix, the Belgian innovator of aluminum modular standbuilding systems, developed the product LEDskin®, a video tile that can be seamlessly integrated into an exhibition stand.

LEDskin®-tiles, which are 496 x 496 mm in size and 62 mm thick, can be combined into a conventional, rectangular video wall. On the other hand, one can also opt for less common, quirky shapes that bring the exhibition stand to life. The possibilities are endless. The back and sides can be neatly finished with cover profiles, textiles and panels.

To provide customers with good technical support, beMatrix has partnered with a range of AV partners where the LEDskin®can be rented and where one can count on the necessary support. For the installation of the LEDskin®, Bulik Standbouw knocked at the door of one of these 'Strategic LEDskin® partners' in Belgium: AS Technology. They assisted Bulik with the necessary technical know-how and advice for preparing the video content.

Strong network for additional capacity and support

beMatrix also works with 'Strategic LEDskin® partners' in other countries, who are in close consultation with each other. This means that these partners can count on additional capacity with video tiles from domestic or foreign colleagues from the network in peak periods or for large projects.

Prestigious award

Last summer, the LEDskin® was awarded with a prestigious Red Dot Award from the German Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen. This prize, which is awarded since 1955, is one of the world's leading design awards in the world. The high quality of the LEDskin® ensured that the system was declared the winner in the Product Design category.
